Frolickers above the curtain at the beautiful Theatre du Palais Royal in Paris.  They float around the famous Rabelais quote, "Mieux est de ris que de larmes éscrire - Pour ce que rire est le propre de l'homme," meaning that laughter belongs to man, and better to laugh than to write down your tears.

The ceiling of the Notre Dame de Paris is a merveille.  This is a cyanotype print of the ceiling in the ambulatory part of the cathedral, behind the apse, and is part of a larger series in the works, to photograph all the ceilings of Paris's churches and cathedrals.
