I don’t see any First Lord (Ladies and Lords) trying to squash himself into a traditional First Lady role, fussing over the china and the drapes. He will likely reinvent the role to suit himself. Designers and event planners can be hired, whether for a male or female in this position. It is an evolving position that changes (slightly) with the times. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip of England seem to be handling their positions just fine. I don’t think this is really worth fussing over and I’m sure Bill Clinton would agree – much more important to get Hillary elected!
