Today’s Oracle takes us to the Sagittarius monthly for August 2001.
Someone, somewhere, has a little coming-to-terms with reality on their agenda, and that reality is you. It may be someone you consider an adversary; it may be someone you consider a partner. Who knows, in this world, it could be both. But this person or entity (it could be a company) has finally moved into a position where you can get a clear shot. There’s no need to keep expecting some kind of mature meeting of the minds — or rather, the most mature possible encounter will involve you stating your position in absolutely certain terms. This is not a bluff. You know what you want, what you need and who you are. You are also accustomed to doing more compromising than is your due. And, furthermore, what you have learned in the past three or four months is more than adequate to put some spark in your piston. Just be precise. Please. Very, very precise.
The Daily Oracle offers a horoscope selected randomly by our Intelligent Archive Oracle program, unique to Planet Waves. It’s also a database of my horoscopes going back to the late 1990s. You can use the Intelligent Archive Oracle to answer questions and give you ideas for how to handle problems and situations you cannot see through. This feature is available to our Galaxy, Backstage and Core Community members. See this link for more information.
Wish I’d been a PW member back in 2001 – it took many more years before I found that “spark in my piston” & got free of a bad situation.
Bette — I can relate to the feeling. It’s easy to get frustrated when we feel like we’ve taken “too long” to move on from a damaging relationship, or to find our courage or sense of purpose, or to allow ourselves to be creative, or to begin a healing process. Hard not to feel like we’ve “wasted time,” but…I tend to think the teachers and the lessons arrive when we’re truly ready for them. Take heart — I’ll bet you were right on time, and still are.
Thank-you, Amanda – I do usually manage to believe that things do indeed arrive “on time” .This winter, housebound with health issues, a bit apprehensive about Saturn crossing my south node (6th house) at Solstice, I hope I am learning all I can from a very rough passage. I appreciate your encouragement.
