As of daybreak Sunday, the Aries Full Moon is behind us. Yet the tide on our planet continues to rise: that of carbon, temperature, sea level and most of all fear. People are worried about the future. Not their future, the future. People are so concerned, they speak up about it. It’s not merely the U.S. election. It’s everything we’re witnessing in the world around us.

Special Comment: Here Beside the Rising Tide
As of daybreak Sunday, the Aries Full Moon is behind us. Yet the tide on our planet continues to rise: that of carbon, temperature, sea level and most of all fear. People are worried about the future. Not their future, the future. People are so concerned, they speak up about it. It’s not merely the U.S. election. It’s everything we’re witnessing in the world around us.

We may well be concerned about pain. Thanks to electric media, we’ve exploded our central nervous system into the environment around us. Our consciousness is hyperextended everywhere and anywhere. Not so long ago, this would have been available only through the transcendent state of a monk, lama or advanced aspirant.

Now we have a kind of electronically induced enlightenment. Will we be able to tune in and recognize what’s happening around us? Or will we cut off consciousness because this kind of hypersensitivity is much too painful? Here’s what will require some courage: staying connected in a time of transition and turmoil, and their many new challenges.

(The Day of Essential Judgment) | Get Your Libra Birthday Reading
You can now get a deeper understanding, not just of a domestic situation, but also your emotional constitution. You are changing, and the main development is that you’re seeking your independence. This has dawned on your awareness only slowly, though now it’s undeniable. You are your own person, and you must live that way.

Written in the Planets
Today the Moon passes through a subtle aspect: the square of Ceres in Aries to Vesta in Cancer. Here we get to feel the fine line between parent and lover. And the paradox. While on one level it’s taboo to talk about the sexual aspects of parenthood and the parental aspects of sex, on another, we’ve all got our feet in the same water. Ceres is a reminder that emotional nourishment is essential to a sane sense of self. Vesta is a reminder of the element of the maternal in all honest sexual communication. Vesta holds space for feelings and experiences. Burning at her core is the sacred fire of sexual creation. That means sex as the volcano of creation, and creation as sexuality expressed many ways. This is not such a paradox as it may seem. Hold space open for honest desire. Be willing to nourish and be nourished.

I am going to respectfully, but rigorously challenge both you Eric, and Mr. Wilde…

The hyperextended consciousness people are experiencing via technology and the internet is not the same in any way as the “transcendent state of a monk, lama or advanced aspirant.” This is however, the central and fundamental illusion we are operating under…

…and it is precisely what is keeping people separate from their Soul, their Self, and their intrinsic inner wisdom, creativity, and connection to a genuine higher source of consciousness.

(Also, keep in mind, there are very few truly authentic “advanced aspirants.”)

The consciousness holding so many people hostage now via the inundation of technology and the internet, and also our dysfunctional relationship to money…is mass consciousness. Indeed, it is cleverly disguised, and it really, really “feels” like something else. And many, many folks standing smack dab in the center of it claim to be “enlightened!” (Mass consciousness will eagerly masquerade as “spiritual.”) However, in reality this “body” of consciousness is at the very epicenter of mass conscious; which is why it feels so powerful.

Mass consciousness is the core of the beliefs that most people hold about themselves, their value and worth, the world, politics, family, God, sex, love, play, money, etc. It is the compilation of all our unresolved energies and issues. It is all the paradigms, perceptions, patterns, illusions, delusions, addictions, and attachments to power, manipulation, and control – suffering, struggle, and sacrifice – you see becoming more clear now in our daily lives.

Higher consciousness, an authentic “spiritual” consciousness, the Christ consciousness, God, the Buddha, a metaphysical source of energy…however we define that, stands wholly outside the mass consciousness; wholly outside the internet, technology, and the consciousness people are creating with it.

It is a consciousness that is, as Christ phrased it, “in, but not of the world.”

Take all of the cleverness, intellect, ego, unresolved issues and desires, etc. symptomatic of that which keeps us from wholeness…and you have mass conscious. Even religion itself is too often both “in and of” the mass consciousness. Why? The power of belief; belief can be a powerful tool. It can also be a destructive and/or self-destructive – weapon.

As for Mr. Wilde, experience may be “the name we give our mistakes.” However, if we combine experience with awareness…wisdom is created.

And now is an extraordinary opportunity, perhaps the greatest opportunity of our lifetime, to marry our awareness to our experiences and to cultivate wisdom, learning, and growth. To genuinely…evolve.
