Tonight’s Full Moon aligns with the conjunction of our times, that of Uranus and Eris. My reading on this rare meeting (it last happened 89 years ago) describes our relationship to technology. By this I mean waking up to what our “new media” have done to us these past nine decades since the first commercial radio station went on the air.

Special Comment: Our Relationship to Technology
Tonight’s Full Moon aligns with the conjunction of our times, that of Uranus and Eris. My reading on this rare meeting (it last happened 89 years ago) describes our relationship to technology. By this I mean waking up to what our “new media” have done to us these past nine decades since the first commercial radio station went on the air. What we’re seeing — everything we’re seeing, feeling and experiencing — in some way relates to this cycle. Taking place in Aries, Uranus (radical transformation) and Eris (the personality rearranged by exposure to technology) describes what we have become, which we can witness projected into the world around us. The Moon and Sun make something that’s distant and abstract observable on that lunar silver screen of our emotions and projections into the world. We’re witnessing what we’ve become.

What you learn in the next few weeks will help you make sense of your relationships going back as long as five years. This has been a strange time for partnership, in the lives of those born under the sign of partnership. People may not have acted as you’ve expected, and they have not been predictable, but one thing you must admit is that in this environment you’ve learned a lot about who you are.

Written in the Planets
One quality of Full Moons is that they keep many people up late at night. This is a holdover from the hunter-gatherer days of humans (by far, most of our history on the planet); when the Moon is bright, that’s the time to stay out all night hunting with friendly wolves on the way to becoming dogs. Another is that it has a way of helping us get out of impasses. That’s a stalemate situation where two people cannot move forward. When something has to give, the Full Moon helps facilitate that.
