What promises have you made to others, and what promises have you made to yourself? When you think about that, do you consider the concept of a ‘soul contract’ — that is, your soul’s intention for incarnation in this lifetime and its highest path or purpose? Today Venus forms a T-square with Orcus in Virgo and Nessus in Pisces. Nessus represents an opportunity to ‘stop the buck’ on some sort of negative (even abusive) pattern, often something familial. Orcus, named after the punisher of broken promises, represents keeping oaths and being true to oneself. Venus in Gemini can feel both sides putting on the pressure, yet they may not be equal. Any ‘promise’ (explicit or implied) that hurts you in the bargain may not be one the gods — or your soul — expects you to honor.
