      I agree. At first glance, with my focus on the umbrellas, then looking at the ground, and having lived enough rain deluges and flooding, I thought perhaps they were walking in tidal flooded areas. Remarkable picture, beautiful!

    Thanks guys. I was surprised to see the ground having formed waves as well. I had just come out of the Orangerie and the exhibition Qui A Peur des Femmes Photographes (Who is Afraid of Women Photographers), on women photographers working between 1839 and 1919. Excellent show. But I digress…
