The Gemini Soul, Sagittarius Full Moon & Bob Dylan

In tonight’s edition of Planet Waves FM, I consider the Sagittarius Full Moon, which blends the signs Gemini and Sagittarius. This sets the theme of the program — the resolutions of opposites, dualism and Gemini’s meaning in this context. I walk through a number of theories of dualism, non-dualism and “logic” (which is less logical than it seems) and then convey that into a theory of astrology.

Bob Dylan.

My musical guest is Bob Dylan (a tradition this time of year for Planet Waves). I play live versions of Chimes of Freedom and Memphis Blues, and read the lyrics to both.

thanks Eric! i had several new thoughts brought on by this edition. i don’t exactly remember all of them, but i think i can come up with a little logical truism if then statement about this one totally exasperating Gemini thing, namely integration. if i am an esoteric student, my natal merc-venus square neptune supports this according to some authors, and given I am a Gemini rising, then this Saturn in Cancer in my 2nd house might very well be esoterically expressing a little premature integration force. i look for a lot of cues in my environment to help me get my act together — and it’s a real plus or minus effect. for instance if i find (perhaps synchronously) cool stuff on the ground it can have an either reinforcing or be a little slap on the wrist, but it is never neutral. i think that must be Saturn trying too hard at personality-building…. i should take it a little easier, something about Cancer i guess. i never quite realized this like that and when you thoroughly went through the dual sign symbols it really turned that lightbulb ON. thank you that was too good. if i ever want to pretend i can’t stop travelling, all i have to do is go to Bob Dylan and his marvelous gift that many musicians have attempted but Dylan does road songs with such ease he’s got the topic completely sewn up, perhaps he can switch to writing songs about making clothes now. :)

Here, I really don’t agree with your point view of Christian’s God- Satan drama, every thing needs to have form to proof the dependence of the God, without the ancient shadow of the goodness and badness, human might lose the wisdom and do the evil even without choice. It really reflected the collective unconsciousness. It is horrible that you think you doing the right but result in vice, such as the story described :’ Oedipus the King ‘. When some one’s consciousness is not enough to handel its unchosen evil, which means some one may do evil with total innocence. religion propose differe from liberation and secular humanity. When individual ethics meets secular evil, it turns out to be so fragile. That is why religion and philosophy there to detect the evil chain.
    Thanks

I was interested to see what you said about Asbolus having to do with survivor-ship. Having survived a lot, I decided to look up where Asbolus falls in my birthchart. My info is as follows: My sun is 13 Cancer 8’ 37”. Asbolus is 14 Cancer 56’ 25”. Does that more or less meet the conditions for having a strong Asbolus? Thanks for answering when you have a minute.
